To assist the judges in the adjudication process, please articulate your input in terms of the “STAR” (Situation/Task, Action of the individual, Result) principle. We understand that not all attributes may be relevant to the nominee but advise that the more evidence that can be provided the better.

Diversity Representation : The award recognizes organizations that have achieved diverse representation across various dimensions, such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, and other protected characteristics.

Inclusive Culture : Recognition is given to companies that have cultivated an inclusive culture where all employees feel welcomed, respected, and valued

Equity Initiatives : The award criteria may focus on organizations that have implemented equity initiatives to address disparities and ensure fair treatment and opportunities for all employees.

Leadership Commitment : Employers with strong leadership commitment to DEI, visible support, and involvement in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives are often considered for this award.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) : Organizations that have established and supported employee resource groups to provide a supportive community for underrepresented employees may receive special recognition.

Training and Education : The award may consider organizations that provide DEI training and education to all employees to foster understanding and awareness.

DEI Metrics and Reporting : Organizations that track and measure their DEI progress and share transparent reporting on their efforts are often acknowledged.

Community Engagement : The award criteria may include companies that actively engage with and contribute to diverse communities outside of the workplace

Sustained Efforts : Organizations that have demonstrated a sustained and long-term commitment to DEI excellence are often considered for this award.
